This is an installation that aims to illustrate connections between people, organisations and countries through music and light. By holding the hands up to the sensors, rays of light and sound are transmitted between participants. By exploring the different possible combinations, the installation levels up with more and more light and music. Created by H&aring;kan Lidbo and Jaime Reyes at Rumtiden Idea Lab, with collaborators Dominique Dautheribes and Max Bj&ouml;rverud.&nbsp;

Immerse yourself in the Swedish forest
Few activities are as therapeutic as forest bathing. Sweden &ndash; with its varied terrain available to all &ndash; is the perfect setting for this soul-cleansing practice, far away from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
The mindful, meditative practice of forest bathing has become so popular in Sweden that&nbsp;skogsbad&nbsp;&ndash; the Swedish word for &lsquo;forest bathing&rsquo; &ndash; has even made its way into the official Swedish dictionary.
&nbsp;
Swedes&rsquo; relationship with nature is deeply ingrained in the Swedish lifestyle and many might say, psyche. Luckily so, as being at one with nature will stand you in good stead &ndash; a recent case study&nbsp;conducted at medical university Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm indicates that time spent outdoors has significant health benefits. After just 72 hours in nature, participants&rsquo; stress levels decreased by 70 percent, while their blood pressure and heart rate dropped. Their sense of wellbeing and creativity, in contrast, surged.

In the interactive station Innovation mapping, you can discover all partner projects throughout the exhibition and filter according to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
By asking all companies to select which SDGs their projects work towards, we have created a database through which projects are matched with the appropriate SDGs.

In this installation, visitors are asked to plant a tree by turning the handle to select a tree and then planting it virtually. When you turn the handle, an animation shows the tree grow, and at the same time a ball is released to symbolise that a seed is being planted.
This station is about more than interacting with an installation in the pavilion &ndash; it will give you the opportunity to actually contribute to a better world. When a virtual tree has been planted, the screen will prompt you to purchase a wooden token in the store. The money will be donated to Vi Agroforestry, our partner in this project, allowing them to plant an actual tree.

Welcome to our sculpture park, a thought-provoking blend between statistics and art. The shape of the 3D-printed sculptures has grown out of real-life statistics on select phenomena over time. The sculptures do not intend to show causality. One side of a sculpture does not necessarily cause the other side to look a certain way. But the sculptures are meant to inspire curiousness about the relationship between different societal developments.&nbsp;

Accessible global data has many potential uses, including taking advantage of new technologies such as machine learning and AI based on analysis of large amounts of structured, high-quality data.
The installation Health in numbers allows you to take part in interactive statistics from the WHO.
The application has three different modes where you can explore:
1. Most common cause of death
2. Years of life lost due to illness
3. Number of transplanted organs in different countries

Heartbeats is a light installation that consists of LED strips that run up along five trees. This installation is to set the mood and make the forest more dynamic. It has no interactivity and does not contain any of the partner companies&rsquo; content.

Watch the forest around you come alive. Visitors get the opportunity to interact with the forest trees through the installation Light trees. By moving your finger in a circular motion on the screen, LED strips on five different trees are activated. You will either make it rain or watch the grass grow. This is visualised by different colours and movements on the LED strips.

Learn about and experience new and innovative materials in augmented reality (AR). New materials is a "twin" installation to Raw materials and will use AR technology to show new materials or production methods. Visitors use their own phone to scan the QR code and AR code and then get to see a 3D object and text about the material and project.

The Raw materials section highlights sustainable raw materials that our Swedish partner companies want to present. The idea of ​​the installation is to show some tactile objects that the visitor can touch and also scan the adjacent QR code to read information about.

In the interactive installation Smart city, visitors can explore a large number of projects, all of which are about how we can build smarter and more environmentally friendly cities, from how we handle our waste to how we build our houses.
The installation consists of two touch screens where visitors choose which project to watch being animated under the glass city. The installation mixes the project content with an artistic interpretation of Swedish craftsmanship. The glass houses in the city are handmade in Sweden.

Smart society consists of five touch screens where you can explore how our future society will be more sustainable and smarter. This is done by first choosing which theme is of interest and then explore different subcategories and solutions for that theme. When you find something exciting, you can read more and make additional selections. The experience ends when you 'send' it to the globe in the middle of the table and thus contribute to the smart society of the future.
