Health care acquired infections

Today, you are more likely to die from an infection caught while receiving health care than of AIDS, breast cancer and car accidents combined.

Health Care Associated Infections (HCAI) is the biggest killer in the world of people under 30. And in one hour, another 100 people will have died from HCAI.

But this can be changed. If we increase knowledge about hygiene, we could lower HCAI by 20–50 per cent. So, let’s spread the knowledge, not the bacteria.
